TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Music is complex, and getting from point A to point B is never simple but always possible. Anyone can play well if they put in the effort. Even if improvement and progress is hard to see it is always happening. Learning how to play an instrument, working through the problems and conventions of that instrument, and using that instrument to deepen your connection to and understanding of music will instill confidence in the student and prepare them for similarly complex problems for the future.
